I have always thought it was ridiculous that the only multiple hit spells for Death school are Scarecrow and Avenging Fossil which take 7 and 10 pips. Deer Knight on the other hand only takes 5 pips and can easily be powered up to do more damage with blades, traps, and astral. Deer knight makes no sense, besides the obvious nerf, 100 damage per pip on top of a pretty nice utility is way too strong for death imo. Tempest (which is storm school, so should be strongest with fire) is 80 damage per pip, and meteor for fire is about 85 damage per pip no utility.
