Apr 9, 2020 · harrismp Discussion starter · Apr 9, 2020. My LX277 is not fully charging. I get 30+V to my regulator from the stator so i'm guessing its good. I only get almost 11V from regulator to battery, thus battery dies after a bit. I've checked the grounding of regulator by grounding to frame and then even directly to the battery ground, no diff output. Chris, first try to adjust the clutch. I attached some images from the manual. check the wiring. If the wiring does not reveal any problem and a clutch adjustment does not resolve it, it may be time to replace the clutch. The battery is remaining fully charged and has been checked at an Auto Parts store. This tractor has the Kawasaki FH500V 17.5 hp motor.
