Hello, I made a new character for a 2nd playthrough. I'm thinking of going Arcane + minimal dex and dual wielding two occult weapons. I've made it through 2 hours with dual uchigatanas on my Samurai character, but just found the Cross-Naginata. Looking up the wiki if I get a spiked spear, I can get a dual spear bleed setup which is appealing.For uchi especially, I don't see any point of going keen when occult exist, except maybe only during early/mid game when relied on unseathe, but late game occult is superior to anything except maybe cold IMO. Tested it on malenia, occult uchi with 568 AR outperformed keen uchi, fully buffed with 900 AR. Because it's simple, you just hit.Even though the Uchigatana and Nagakiba have bleed already the Blood affinity will improve blood build up. And because it will scale with Arcane (same with Occult), any levels put in Arcane will improve the bleed buildup. If you do use these Blood and Occult affinities then yes arcane will be required. I'm not trying to play as Sephiroth.Scav sword isn't available until the mid-late game, and you can only get one per playthrough without trading.
