Some oils are better than others.I think the Polaris AGL has graphite in it. It's a strange gray. I use Klotz snowmobile chaincase oil with graphite, and it seems to be the same stuff. Gear oil is formulated to be a bit "sticky" as manual gear cases don't have oil pump, so the sticky oil carries onto the other gears.
