May 26, 2021 · I purchased one in Nov. 2019. It was one of a batch that had bad barrels. At the time they informed me that the problem had been tracked to a certain number of barrels from one manufacturer. They were able to track these to a block of serial numbers for the TX22 although they were not certain all pistols within that block of numbers were affected. MFG Part Number: 1-TX22241. I don't know if Taurus produces the barrels themselves or subs it out to another manufacturer but they need to get this solved.Taurus TX22 Full Size to Competition.
