The corruption allows you to have some really neat boons to your strength, vitality, and authority (But not the others ). I don't play Strength builds so i cannot comment on if these boons are worth it to be fully corrupted (50% less HP & stamina is a lot, imo). It does have great synergy with archery and/or authority builds though.You can get three types of Corruption in Conan Exiles: Normal, Permanent, and Tainted.
