Dear mofos still on tradovate. Word of advice Fuck ninja trader who now owns tradovate. Move to EDGECLEAR They’re better in every way. If you don’t want the best in the biz go to amp I hear they’re good. The end. I don’t care if you love ninja so save it, they’re not great by any means but if it works for you great.Apparently not. Been using GFF Brokers but their commissions are pretty high; $1.37 per contract per round for micros, and $4.80 per contract per round for e-minis, so I wanted to see if there was something out there that was cheaper. Bracket orders are buy and/or sell orders placed at both ends of a price range. One-cancels-other (OCO) bracket order will cancel out the remaining order after the first order is executed. Tradovate will lag during busy crazy events, so buyer beware. If you avoid those you should be fine. If you want to go deep down the rabbit hole, you can do anything on Sierra Chart and it is way cheaper than Ninja Trader. Be prepared to spend a good amount of time learning/setting up the software to how you like it if you go that route.
