The second cat uses the LR, and then it’s reset to around seven minutes later to cycle. My LR4 has been showing a pinch detect fault all day and I’m not sure if this could be why.. while I was cleaning I noticed this foam strip sticking out above the catch bin. I cleaning the entire LR, the litter is “optimal” and the bin is empty so i’m not sure what else it could be.. anyone have any ideas?

The blue DFI light started blinking even when the tray was empty, and after pressing the "reset" button, the lights switched to the fast yellow blinking (pinch detect).Regarding issues with your Litter-Robot 3, you may also see the blue light blinking. You can order a new DFI kit for $80 off the litter robot website. I'm not sure how it broke, bit I read somewhere that something can blow if you remove or replace the bonnet while the robot is still plugged in. I still have a problem: the DFI in my litter robot 3 is longer and different than the one received with my order.While troubleshooting, I noticed that the metal contacts can be connected to bypass the bonnet, similar to what worked for bypassing the pinch. It would be great to find a way to bypass the DFI. Granted that could lead to poo smears on the globe, but I'm already in the habit of checking the robot frequently so that shouldn't happen.The drawer is empty, the bag is not in the way, and it will not cycle at all, even when unplugged and plugged back in. Troubleshooting said to wipe the sensor with a qtip, so I wiped down the area, although I don't really see a black spot that looks like the lense shown in the YouTube videos.
