1 Message Friday, February 25th, 2022 9:14 PM Recessed door swings open through the recess One of our exterior doors is recessed, and the frame is 4-5". The door opens in, through that 4-5" frame, so placing the sensor anywhere on the frame would mean the door couldn't open (it hits the sensor). The initial "starter" kit comes with a few sensors, but making sure that all windows in easy access (the ground floor our house) are protected is not difficult.
