To them folks like Ysera are "true," dragons, and thus the precursor form is a proto-dragon. My main issue with Shadowlands as a whole was that it didn’t feel like Warcraft to me. If it weren’t for the handful of faction leaders/heroes that stick around in Oribos, it would feel like a different IP altogether.
