This 50 Newton RSA is a direct replacement for 4” and 5” PPQ’s. (9mm & .40cal) You could load a spring in a vice and apply a torch to it. That would relax it, but it wouldn't be very easy to get it exactly how you want it. It would be tricky to get the compression / heat level correct.It says the tungsten guide rod is 4x heavier than the polymer. My polymer guide rod weighed in at .48 oz... so this tungsten guide rod is around 2 oz? Reply

I use the tungsten guide rod in the 4.5 in. and don't find the muzzle flip to be a problem. I use a steel guide rod in the 5 in. and really don't feel the muzzle flip-although with practice ammo, the ammo doesn't always seem consistent in terms of recoil and accuracy. Q5 match is hard to beat for accuracy, particularly with an optic.Yep, maybe I’ll buy both before the year is over and take some slo-mo footage to put it all to rest.
